Seal ended up being real fun today, minimal crowd, clean surface conditions. Set waves offering about 3 to 4 waves per set with timing getting quicker between sets as morning went by, waves size also began to increase.
Hardly anyone out, occasional quick corners @ North Pier on inconsistent head high sets. Mushy outside and very choppy, rolling to walled out and extremely hollow inside.
First sunset session since last summer. Wind stayed light this evening so we gave it a go. My 2 daughters, brother in law, and I had fun goofing in the moderately choppy surf at North side of the Pier. Put together a couple decent but short rides, all in all a good time with family in less then great surf.
Decent waves coming through, soccer event on the beach today with stands and food. Tide push started swamping the smaller set waves out, larger waves with the push began closing out. Good on drop in, corners slightly mushy.
