Matt: I have surfed Goldenwest and spots near here but can't seem to find the best swell direction and tide to make it alot of fun. Any advice or insight from someone who has been surfing it longer than the two months I have been??

Aaron Hey Matt, did I see you in the water near 9th St. in HB today? Anyway, you'll see a big change in the winter when the swells come from the north/northwest and at times can create some epic rights. TIde wise, going from a low to a high tide is usually best
